Recent years have seen a significant surge in the uptake of electric vehicle usage with over 145,000 on the roads as of April 2018. There is no doubt that this trend is set to increase and provision needs to be made for the creation of public charging points for these new vehicles.
This growth represents a significant opportunity for the residents of Swindon to take advantage of the next generation of personal transport and help reduce our reliance upon fossil fuels and reduce our carbon emissions. Swindon Borough Council are committed to improving the local infrastructure for electric vehicles and we need your help.
